We are currently accepting applications for volunteers at the Library. Volunteers must be currently of high school age or older and must be able to provide an emergency contact name and telephone number prior to beginning volunteer service. If you'd like to volunteer, please fill out a volunteer application and turn it in to the Library. If you are a juvenile who has been directed to the Library by the Huron Municipal Court to complete community service, please contact Shelby Tillinghast, the Customer and Technical Services Manager, at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the Library at (419) 433-5009. You will be required to complete a Volunteer Application and submit a background check.
Those working towards community service credits at the Library will be required to submit their cell phone, mobile computing device, or any other electronic equipment that would distract from their community service duties. Devices will be returned at the close of the predetermined work shift. Non-compliance with this procedure or with any of the Library's Code of Conduct will be grounds for the dismissal of the volunteer.
