We are always looking for dedicated and disciplined volunteers to help with various jobs throughout the Library. Volunteering at the Huron Public Library is a fun and rewarding way to give back to the community.
We are currently accepting applications for volunteers at the Library. Volunteers must be currently of high school age or older and must be able to provide an emergency contact name and telephone number prior to beginning volunteer service. If you'd like to volunteer, please fill out a volunteer application and turn it in to the Library. If you would like more information about volunteering at the Huron Public Library, please contact Shelby Tillinghast at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the Library at (419) 433-5009.
Interested in earning a Diploma of Distinction or just need community service hours for school, church, or scouting? We can help you! We are especially interested in creative projects and basic volunteer support. Please visit or call (419) 433-5009 today and share your ideas.
If you are a juvenile who has been directed to the Library by the Huron Municipal Court to complete community service, please contact the Vikki Morrow-Ritche the Library Director at (419) 433-5009. You will be required to complete a Volunteer Application and submit a background check.
Those working towards community service credits at the Library will be required to submit their cell phone, mobile computing device, or any other electronic equipment that would distract from their community service duties. Devices will be returned at the close of the predetermined work shift. Non-compliance with this procedure or with any of the Library's Code of Conduct will be grounds for the dismissal of the volunteer.
