Huron Historical Society Announces Spring Weekly Hours

Wednesdays from 4 - 6 pm


On Wednesday afternoons a Huron Historical Society volunteer will be available to assist you with questions and direct you to materials as he or she is able. Summer hours will be announced in May.



Commercial Fishing in Huron: A Scan and Share Event


Wednesday, March 20 from 6 - 8 pm


Bring Huron-related commercial fishing pictures and stories to share with Bill Scott, son of a third generation commercial fisherman. These treasures may be shared with the public on the Historical Society's touch-screen kiosk with future viewing available in the Library.


No registration required.



Support History Preservation through a Huron Historical Society Membership


Monday, April 8 at 7 pm


This Members-Only meeting will feature a raffle of HHS-produced materials and an interactive trivia program on Huron's growth trends. The Huron Historical Society, a non-profit organization located in the lower level of the Library, is funded through memberships, donations, and grants. If you would like to help preserve Huron's history and support educational programming, please consider renewing your membership or becoming a new member at this meeting.
