Reader Resources

Here are a number of helpful links that will take you to sites especially for teens. Books and poetry are highlighted, but we want to hear from you about recommendations for new web-based services through our contact form.

bookspot.gif BookSpot- Find out about all kinds of books for teens, including science fiction, comics, mystery, romance, poetry and more. There are book reviews, reading lists, awards and lots of other information to help you select great titles to read.

Based on the Book- Plays, books, and some short stories have been made into movies. These lists, provided by Mid-Continent Public Library in Missouri, may lead you to the question- which is better? The book or the movie based on the book?

New York Public Library's "Stuff for the Teen Age"- A great blog to follow when you want to know the newest and best titles published for teens. See if you agree!
