Gallery Exhibits

The Gallery is located on the Library's lower lever and is used to display works of art by patrons in Huron and surrounding communities. Exhibits rotate on a monthly basis. If you'd like to display work in the Gallery, or if you have question about the work displayed, please contact Holly Lynn, the Public Services Librarian, by calling the Library or emailing holly.lynn@huronlibrary.org.


December • Best in Show 

Multiple Artists and Mediums

This year’s Gallery artists will display one of their favorite pieces. Patrons can vote for their choice for “Best in Show.” Voting ballots will be available starting December 1 and your vote may be cast until December 20.

January • The Firelands Shutterbugs 

Photography

The Firelands Shutterbugs is a photography club that meets the first and third Saturdays of the month in the Library. This month features an annual show, with photographs included from all of the photography club members.


February • Carey Hillman 

Paintings

Carey Hillman lives in Vermilion, OH and is a graduate from the Cleveland Institute of Art. He has been drawing and painting for most of his life. Carey specializes in portraits. This summer he was also one of four artists featured at the Artseen Gallery.
