Youth Crafts

The Huron Public Library Youth Services Department hosts a monthly craft for children and tweens. Some crafts are open to all ages and are specially noted.

There is nothing like a brand new box of crayons- but what happens to all those old, beat-up crayons? In this craft session, let’s find fun ways to use old and new crayons. We will also learn how crayons are made and  read the book The Day the Crayons Quit by Drew Daywalt.

“Brown paper packages tied up with strings. These are a few of my favorite things.” This will be the tune of this month’s craft. The Youth Department staff will be sharing some of the crafts they LOVE during this February session. Participants will be in for a real treat and surprise.
